Our data is shackled in centralized databases and controlled and profited from by the companies, and platforms that own these databases. Think social networks, search engines, banks, telecoms, device makers and other central silos.

Matt Hogan /CEO

Working closely with consumer data in his prior Finance career, Matt experienced first hand how inefficient the market for personal data was for both businesses and individuals. In 2013, he founded Datacoup, the revolutionary consumer-controlled marketplace for personal data.

Reki Hattori /CTO

Reki is a software engineer at datacoup, where he strategizes and builds all things technical including application development, infrastructure and data engineering. He joined the mission at Datacoup knowing how important personal control of data will be in any emerging web technology.

Casey Falvey /Product Design

Having been an ardent 'Never Facebooker', Casey joined Datacoup to break down the internet's personal data silos and bring back consumer control. Prior to Datacoup, Casey ran a small but busy design and development agency.

After spending the first decade of his career working in Investment Banking and Capital Markets roles on Wall Street, Scott joined Datacoup in 2013 and has been focused on helping users control and monetize their own data ever since.
